Department of Homeland Security/Federal Emergency Management Agency - Radiological Emergency Exercise Support

Since 2000, Trinity has supported evaluations by the FEMA of Radiological Emergency Preparedness (REP) activities at nuclear facilities, as subcontract of ICF Consulting. National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health - Residual Contamination Evaluation

Under an amendment to the Defense Authorization Act and at the request of NIOSH has requested that Trinity complete a study of residual contamination in Atomic Weapons Employers (AWE) facilities. Trinity evaluated whether or not significant contamination remained in any AWE facility after the facility discontinued activities relating to nuclear weapons production. Trinity also evaluated whether or not such contamination could have caused or substantially contributed to the cancer of a covered employee.
