Department of Homeland Security/Federal Emergency Management Agency - Radiological Emergency Exercise SupportTrinity Engineering Associates is a subcontract member of the ICF team supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in their evaluations of Radiological Emergency Preparedness (REP) activities at nuclear facilities. Trinity provides technical evaluators for the team, including certified health physicists, radiological engineers, and nuclear engineers, to review REP plans, evaluate new reactor license submittals, and evaluate preparedness exercises held at locations throughout the United States. Trinity�s staff also provided rapid response technical scenario development to test the Federal Radiological Emergency Response Plan in the aftermath of the September 11 attacks. As part of this program, Trinity staff members have completed training on REP methods at the training facilities in Emmittsburg, Aiken, Biloxi, Austin, and Fairfax.
